A classic, five-point gold star.

Commonly used for various metaphorical senses of star (e.g., for fame, success, excellence, reviews). Also used for emphasis or flair. Occasionally used for astronomical stars.

Not to be confused with 💫 Dizzy, 🌟 Glowing Star, 🌠 Shooting Star, or ✨ Sparkles, though their applications may overlap.

Samsung and Facebook’s stars were once silver.
